sharing the more enjoyable moments

i suppose i've been abusing this blog way too much whenever some irritating event/person crosses my path. i remember wanting to use this blog as my 'memoir' of some sort...and memoir it shall be. 


it hasn't been easy living this monotonous life up north...the weather always seems to be going through some sort of pre-menstrual cycle...it seemed like fairly good weather last week, then it decided to have nonstop rain for a couple of days, hailed, snowed a bit while the sun was out and the skies were blue...then just straight up cold. i think i'm starting to forget what season i'm in...


i've been trying to find a nice teaching job in Houston the past couple of months...no luck yet. i flew in over the weekend for a job fair, little did i know...2000 other fellow job seekers were fighting for a spot in ONE of the 32 SCHOOLS. what are my chances? let's not think about that right now.


it's definitely been stressful, but i don't plan on continuing living up here...it gets a bit depressing. i need the sun, humidity, and a long term job. 


on a happier note: i have a furry little companion by my side now :)

You may call him, Dug. He was the lazier one out of his litter, i knew he'd fit right in the family :)


What does he do throughout the day? Pee, Poop, Eat, Sleep. Occasionally, he'd howl at my foul attempt to play the violin. 


I guess he's been keeping me more or less sane these past couple of weeks as i undergo job hunting again.
